Everything at The Pelican is first class and a lot of thought and work has gone into making it a pleasure to stay there. Everything you might possibly need has been clearly thought of including an assortment of batteries, boxed games to play ,books, washing materials and iron .we stay last year for 4 nights, my wife and cousins came for thee nights earier this year and we stayed this year for rwo weeks . We are booking again for next year and m y wife and cousins are booking again . There is so much to see in Staithes and surrounding areas you won't find a better place to stay.
Stayed at Pelican for a week in June. Credit to the owners, everything has been thought of. The decor is first class everything to a very high standard. It has everything you could possibly need for your stay. There is an information book giving you details about the house, places,to visit and places to eat out. We have already made plans to go back next year and have already placed a booking.
We stayed just for 2 nights but would have loved it be longer. The house was lovely & clean with plenty of seating & a well equipped kitchen. It was easy to find & convenient for good pubs, local shops & the beach.
Beautiful House in a Beautiful location. We have stayed in Staithes for many years now and this was an amazing find. The house was spacious and contained all equipment needed for a relaxing location The sweet shop was an added bonus and the locals were very friendly. It was a short walk to the beach or a hop across the jetty to do some crabbing Would definitely recommend and would stay again
Wonderful location, fabulous property. Very well equipped and spacious. Attention to detail was brilliant. Lovely touches to welcome you, fresh flowers, bottle of wine, chocolates, fire all set. Could not fault this in any way. We will definitely be back.
We had a wonderful winter stay in the Pelican - it was really comfortable with some nice homely touches and great mid-century style furniture - all within walking distance of everything Staithes has to offer. Emma was easy to contact and made sure we had everything we needed, including a cot for our baby. We're planning to return in the summer months as this place is really special.
