Another great stay, over Christmas this time. Russell had even trimmed up for us. Everything there that you need, came back lovely and relaxed.
Our recent stay at the holiday flat on Trevelgan Farm was simply wonderful. The owner has recently installed a lovely picket fence around the property, which meant we could keep the door open and fully enjoy that refreshing Cornish breeze without any worries about our dog wandering off—such a thoughtful addition that really made our stay more relaxing. October 2024 Would recommend location and accommodation to anyone with wonderful views looking towards the sea along with views of the surrounding countryside Ideal location for parking and not far to drive into St Ives which has parking. First time out of season but have used the bus on the site in the past which is good value .

We had fun in the games room with table tennis and snooker for our use. The goats weren't too impressed with us oldies, but I'm sure they would play nicely for any kids that visit. The walks around seemed nice, although we confess we struggled with some of the stone stiles as being from Norfolk, we're not used to climbing of any description! Given a longer stay and better weather, I'm sure we would have found some nice walks to suit us a bit more. The communication right up to arrival was outstanding and was much appreciated. We were left to our own devices, which suited us fine, but we knew that if we needed anything, help would be available. Overall, a fabulous, immaculately clean place to stay in an outstanding location. Definitely recommended and will return. Thank you.

After researching we found Trevalgan Farm Holidays and booked the Carthouse and it proved to be a perfect choice! The facilities are fantastic with everything you could need is provided. The hosts are very welcoming and very helpful. We received a homemade cream tea on arrival and fresh farm eggs. The location provided the perfect quiet location we needed to relax, the dog settled immediately and the secure outside patio area was ideal, together with the exercise field and lovely quiet lanes to walk him. We also enjoyed meeting the two friendly goats on the farm who were always pleased to see us with some spare veg. There is a shuttle bus going into St. Ives town on a regular basis from literally just outside the door, which meant we could have easy access for the short trip into town, without needing to worry about getting parked and of course partake in a local tipple. The location offers the perfect balance between being close to St. Ives town/beaches and a quiet country retreat to relax away from the busy town. We hope to visit again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Trevalgan Farm Holidays, especially for anyone looking for dog friendly accomodation.
