Located on the ridge between Porthminster and Carbis Bay, you’ll have idyllic views of Gwithian sands to die for . Well equipped, comfortable and welcoming - once you see the view, you’ll never forget it. This is special and is a 5 star experience. Book this and you won’t be disappointed!
A special house with loads to do, even a piano which pleased my partner no end! Birdsong is in a wonderful location, breath taking views, near a supermarket so it was hard to leave the house and explore the area. Though we did! Giant thank you to Melanie for her website suggestions where to go and what to see. Loved it all even though the weather was a bit hit and miss. Beds comfy, showers/ bath was great, enormous utility room so place for surf boards, can't think of anything it lacked, even the dog loved the garden.
I absolutely loved my recent stay here at Birdsong! The views of the ocean are absolutely gorgeous. The lounge and kitchen are spacious and open plan, ideal for groups. Great kitchen facilities and plenty to do with table tennis, a pool table, outdoor games, and more. Comfortable beds and we loved the newly refurbished nursery! Great location near a supermarket and a lush walking path right outside the back garden gate. Easy parking. Would highly recommend.
Hi Melanie and family, thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful, open plan, spacious, well equipped holiday home ( Bird Song ). The sea views from most rooms and the long balcony were stunning. Carbis Bay with is golden, thick sand was only 8 minutes walk away ( through the gate at the bottom of the garden) on to the coastal path. Our teenage children enjoyed the pool table, football table and the extra seating areas inside and out in the garden. The welcome gifts were a lovely touch. The lovely soft white fluffy towels (plenty) and utility area with washing machine and dryer were very useful. I would not hesitate to book again when we can return
Fabulous family home! Birdsong is a lovely family home in which to base yourselves. It has 5* facilities with 5* spectacular sea views from the large balcony. The huge open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen is perfect for entertaining and enjoying each other''s company. The large balcony and furniture easily enables everyone to eat alfresco whilst taking in the views across the bay, or enjoying a glass of wine whilst watching the sun go down. The adjacent coastal path gives easy walking access to Carbis Bay beach (highly rated), which was a firm favourite with the whole family - gently sloping soft sand down to the water''s edge and not overcrowded. The games room with table football and a pool table was loved by adults and grandchildren alike, hard to prise them away!
The accommodation was perfect, well equipped and clean. Bedrooms downstairs made the most of the view from the lounge and huge terrace. Little extras like wine and flowers made us feel very welcome. The drive takes two cars but is quite steep. We parked one car on the road round the corner where there was plenty of parking. Would recommend Birdsong for a large family group especially if you love the sea and walking.
