The view is awesome, and I totally agree that it's one of the best views of St Ives as the harbour is so cute. I only stayed a few days but they were a real tonic. It was hard to walk past all the wonderful food smells from the cafes and cook at home, so we didn't do that very much. The bath was gorgeous so had a few long soaks and I loved the nearness to everything. Couldn't fault it as even the weather was sunny.
Such a lovely cottage to stay in, in the centre of St Ives. The cottage was more than big enough for our family of 5, the views are amazing and it had everything we needed. We loved the bath as well! The cottage is literally steps from Fore St and the harbour which was brilliant, but it was also very quiet and felt tucked away from all the hustle and bustle. Melanie was really helpful even though we were a last minute booking and it was very smooth booking and getting in to the cottage. Thanks for a lovely stay in St Ives!
Admiral Cottage is a true gem, tucked away in the heart of St Ives, just a few steps away from Fore Street. We had a wonderful stay over the Christmas period with an epic Boxing day early morning run enjoying sunrise views over the sea. Views from the cottage are stunning day and night, with colourful harbour lights adding to the Christmas cheer. The cottage has everything you need, with special welcome touches from the host. The fully equipped kitchen diner allows for cosy family gatherings with comfy sofas to relax in. There is a well lit, spacious bathroom with great hot shower and bathtub, ideal for families with children. Also a second toilet on the ground floor. The location is ideal. It is just a quick walk to the shops and harbour, with easy access to footpaths leading to nearby beaches, car parks and train station. We can highly recommend Admiral Cottage to family and friends for every season of the year.
A lovely cosy cottage in the heart of St Ives. Really comfortable and well equipped. The views are absolutely stunning of the harbour and convenience to walk out straight into town. Perfect place to explore St Ives and very short walk to nearby beaches. Melanie was really helpful host and promptly arranged our booking.
