Overview
Description
Three storey terraced cottage ideally situated in the centre of St Ives with large playroom and the latest super-fast broadband. Within easy walking distance of four sandy beaches; very close to shops, restaurants, cinema and The Tate Gallery. Comfortably sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms. This is a very homely house, perfect for families. On the ground floor there is a living room, kitchen/diner and bathroom with thermostatic shower over the bath. The modern kitchen sits 6 people around a pine table - great for family meals - and has integrated fridge and dishwasher. There is a large playroom in the basement with books, games and table football. We also have a vintage 1964 pinball table in good condition that is free to play (as it is so old we can't guarantee that it will definitely be working at all times!). Small rear courtyard with hooks for drying wetsuits. Storage for surfboards, etc in small outhouse.
Upstairs there is one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one twin bunk room.
Free super-fast wifi throughout the house. Bed linen, bath towels, gas and electricity are also included. Our housekeepers will make the beds ready for you prior to your arrival.
Unlike many parts of St Ives you can stop right outside of the house to unload. Parking is a 5 minute walk away in one of the large town car parks offering 1, 3 or 7 day tickets. You can buy a 7-day ticket in advance that includes access to most council-run car parks across Cornwall at no extra charge. All the car parks are within easy walking distance and the shuttle bus stop for the main car park is just round the corner from the house (2 mins). Please be aware that the bathroom is on the ground floor. Also, the stairs are steep. There are no stairgates in the house but we can arrange hire of these for you, just let us know if you require them. We can also provide a high chair and a travel cot if needed, again please let us know and we will provide a quote for rental.

By Lousie on 27-Sep-2018A perfectly located place to stay, in a quiet but central road. The common areas are roomy and the cottage benefits from plenty of light. The beds were comfortable. There is everything you need in walking distance.

Car-free weekend...
By Emma on 03-May-2017We have had a wonderful stay in St Ives. The house was perfect for our family. Clean and cosy with everything we needed. We especially loved the games room to amuse the children! The house is situated in a quiet residential street while being a stones throw away from beautiful beaches, shops and museums. It was fantastic to not need to use the car all weekend as everywhere we wanted to go was walkable. Thank you Jon!
