We enjoyed our stay at Hamish''''''''s cottage. Our rooms with private baths were amazing. The beds were super comfortable. We really enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and cooked many meals there. The view of the cathedral was a bonus!! We enjoyed the garden and the beautiful hydrangeas, rosemary and lavendar that were blooming. Saint Davids is a friendly little city. The Goat Street gallery was a favourite as well as meeting some locals who took us under their wing one rainy day at the wool factory!! The hiking was very convenient and amazing. We will be back to the Pembrokeshire coast and Hamish''''''''s.
This is our third stay at Ty Gwilym and as always it''''''''s a really relaxed holiday. The house is well equipped and perfectly located for walks and beaches in and around St David''''''''s. We had amazing weather and made good use of the lovely garden overlooking the cathedral. Comfy beds and plenty of space to spread out make it a great property for families.
A beautiful property equipped to the very highest levels. Though in the centre of St David''''s, it remained quiet at all times. Very good eateries within less than a minute''''s walk. Highly recommended!
I stayed at Ty Gwilym with 2 friends and it was perfect! There is plenty of space and the 3 double bedrooms would easily accommodate a family or 3 couples. It is so generously, thoughtfully and tastefully equipped throughout. We stayed in February and particularly appreciated the log burner and Netflix for cosy evenings. The location is great, just minutes from the cathedral but also giving easy access to cliff walks. I can’t recommend Ty Gwilym highly enough!
Location amazing, St David's is on your doorstep, then easy driving to many attractions across west Wales. This is one of three rentals in the same building, but the walls are thick so you don't hear your neighbours, with great views of the cathedral, away from the road and street noise. Lovely the shared garden, gets afternoon sunshine. The cottage has all you'll need, good kitchen with dishwasher, water / dryer, fridge and freezer. TV has Freeview and Netflix. Bedrooms are very comfortable and airy. One bathroom with good shower over bath. This is the perfect getaway in Wales
The perfect cottage, perfect location, perfect place. This cottage is everything you could wish for to make a stay in this gorgeous part of the world. Kitted with everything from a wood burner to feather pillows. Spotless, welcoming and even has that rare commodity parking. Whatever the weather it is really perfect. Beautiful garden and amazing accommodating owner. Just joyous.
