Great location within walking distance of all St Davids attractions. We liked the balconies when the weather allowed us to sit outside. When we arrived later than planned it was nice the lights were on and all left ready for us.
The Boat House is really well equipped and so conveniently situated in the centre of St Davids. We had a wonderful holiday.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week in St David’s. The Boathouse is cosy, clean, warm and had everything we needed. Both Hamish and Dawn, the local contact, couldn’t have been more helpful. The bed was very comfortable and gave us a great night’s sleep. Located close to the Cathedral, it’s just a couple of minutes’ walk from the shops, pubs and eateries. Having a garage for the car was really convenient (tip: check the access width if you have a large car); in fact, we only used the car on two days as we could start walks directly from the cottage. Fortunately, the weather was great all week and we enjoyed beautiful circular walks on the Marloes Peninsula, Treginnis Head and Porthgain/Arbereiddy. We didn’t make much use of the two terraces as we were out and about so much. We enjoyed drinks in The Farmers Arms and can recommend The Bishop pub for a good meal and a friendly welcome.
The Boathouse is a perfect spot for a stay in St David’s. The decor is lovely and everything you might want for a comfortable stay has been carefully thought out and provided. We were there in the Autumn and the apartment was warm and cosy. Hamish is a very responsive and extremely helpful host.
My partner and I had a lovely stay at the Boathouse. It was a lovely apartment and really helpful having a garage. Also it was lovely to arrive to Welsh cakes and milk in the fridge after a long drive. We would definitely stay again. It was a great base to explore Pembrokeshire from. Many thanks!
We had a lovely week and the Boathouse was so nice!! The photos didn’t actually do it justice. It was very clean and well stocked (we cooked a few meals there and there was everything we could want) Really nice stuff in the cottage as well, it felt like a nice home, rather than a hotel. Amazing location, nice and quiet for sleeping and so close to everything. One of the nicest places we’ve stayed and would love to go back! The area was stunning - very beautiful part of Wales.
