Myself and my boyfriend had an incredible experience staying at the boat house! The serene water views and cozy atmosphere made it a perfect retreat. The attention to detail in the decor and amenities truly exceeded my expectations. The welcoming host added a personal touch to my stay, taking me on beautiful countryside walks and showing me around the local area, making it a memorable and enjoyable getaway. What''s more, the reasonable price made this unique accommodation an excellent value for a peaceful and charming escape. Highly recommend and we will most definitely be returning! xxx
The Boathouse is a cosy, tranquil retreat. The views stunning. We watched the Kingfisher on the lake for hours .Katie is a brilliant, friendly host. It is the perfect location for exploring Cornwall.
Absolutely stunning location, the Boathouse was a perfect place to stay for our weekend away. Katie & family were incredibly welcoming, & we felt very privileged to be able to share such a magical space - seeing deer within 5mins of arriving was wonderful! The perfect location to explore the beautiful Cornish coastline. Would highly recommend & we hope to book it again soon. Thank you
Had an absolutely amazing time here in the Boathouse, me & my partner visited here for my birthday April 2022, it is so peaceful and so quiet! Katie and family are amazing people, they are welcoming and warming people, the wildlife around the pond is absolutely beautiful, deer, ducks, ducklings, bats and more, such a beautiful secluded place for an amazing getaway! We will definitely arrange to visit again soon! Thank you for a lovely place to stay. ❤️
A lovely place to stay! Very clean. Great communication leading up to the stay. The Boathouse has everything you could need. It has beautiful views and is very cosy. The location is ideal, only 10 minutes from Truro and lots of beaches nearby. Katie is very welcoming and is always available to answer any questions you may have. Overall a great place to stay for a weekend away!
We had a lovely stay in The Boathouse - the view from the deck in the morning is just beautiful and we enjoyed morning coffee with a view of llamas, geese, ducks, horses and more. Great location to visit different areas in Cornwall! Katie was a great host, and we enjoyed some home-grown eggs and bacon from her. We would highly recommend and would love to come back in the summer.
