Rosary Cottage is a beautiful family and dog friendly self catering cottage situated in an ideal location for enjoying the diverse and year-round attractions Somerset has to offer – from bird watching, cycling and long walks in the countryside, to days out shopping, sightseeing or at the beach. Located in Chilton Polden on the Somerset Levels, Rosary Cottage is a fantastic base from which to explore Somerset and offers cosy, well equipped, luxury self-catering accommodation with superfast broadband and WiFi throughout.Rosary Cottage is in Chilton Polden, a rural village in the heart of Somerset. Short walk from the cottage is a fantastic village shop and Post Office, supplying everything from groceries to gifts, and which also stocks the Cook range of pre-prepared meals. There is a newly refurbished pub a short walk from the front door with a beautiful new outside dining area to enjoy. Rosary Cottage is the perfect choice whether you are looking for a short break or family holiday with plenty of beautiful countryside to enjoy and exciting places to visit.

Rosary Cottage is a well equipped cottage with lots of character and charm
By Mark Brandon on 01-Jul-2024Rosary Cottage is a well equipped cottage with lots of character and charm, with a peaceful garden to relax in and enjoy an evening drink after a day exploring and walking. Plenty of info on the local area in the cottage and a nice welcome pack was very much appreciated. Chilton Polden is a perfect location for visiting RSPB Ham Wall and Shapwick Heath, as well as Glastonbury and the wider Somerset area. Lots of good pubs nearby; try the Leather and Lace across the road for something different! Great food and different local ales there. We recommend the local walk to Cossington along green paths and woodland. We would definitely book Rosary Cottage again when visiting this lovely part of the country. Lovely welcome basket with milk cheese and butter in the fridge which was a lovely touch. Instructions for all appliances and baby gate was very useful. Would definitely return. Also our 3 Cavachons thought the garden was amazing!
