Description
Duck Cottage is a welcoming and spacious holiday home, thoughtfully laid out for relaxed coastal stays with family or friends. Sleeping four across two bedrooms, it offers plenty of room to settle in and enjoy time together.The open-plan living and dining area forms the heart of the cottage, with exposed beams, wooden floors and comfortable furniture making it an inviting space. Comfortable seating and a generous dining table make it ideal for shared meals, quiet evenings in, or planning the next day’s adventures.
The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering and leads through to a bright conservatory, furnished with additional seating and filled with natural light. This extra living space works beautifully throughout the day, whether for morning coffee, reading, or a relaxed spot to unwind while looking out over the garden. Doors open directly onto the outside, making the most of warmer weather.
Upstairs, the two bedrooms are calm and comfortable, designed with rest in mind after days spent exploring the coast. A double rooms offer space and storage, while the twin room (can be a king on request) is well suited to children or additional guests.
Outside, the long rear garden provides a peaceful place to enjoy the fresh air, with space for outdoor dining and room for children to play. It’s a lovely extension of the living space during the warmer months.

By Alison on 24-Oct-2025"Excellent communication from the hosts before arrival. Spotlessly clean. Well equipped kitchen, more spacious than expected. Very comfortable mattresses. Attention to detail with the ducks and duck motifs was lovely. There was a small supply of tea, coffee milk and biscuits when we arrived. Hand soap was provided in the kitchen and bathroom, some toiletries and cleaning products too. It's these little touches that make such a difference! Just a short walk to the centre of the village for a grocery store, pharmacy, superb coffee shop and couple of pubs. We would definitely rebook this property"
