Description

Button Cottage is situated just beyond the edge of the town centre, in a quiet residential area. Right on the very edge of the Byes, a National Trust parkland and Sid Vale Conservation Area that follows the river Sid, providing a picturesque 10-15 minute stroll down to Sidmouth and the beach, Devon’s best kept secret.

Sidmouth beach is usually pebble at high tide and sandy at low tide, stretching from Jacobs Ladder in the west, all the way to East Beach, and beyond to Weston, Branscombe and Beer beaches.

Everything is within a short stroll from Button cottage; up the Byes for a pub lunch at the Blue Ball, down the Byes for Sidmouth town and the beach, and the convenience store, pizza and fish and chip takeaway and Volunteer pub all within a couple of minutes walk from the cottage.

Button Cottage is a charming end terrace cottage that has been refurbished by the new owners. There is private off road parking, on the drive, at the front of the property, a rare facility so close to town.
Downstairs there is a comfortably furnished sitting room with an electric wood burner effect stove. A comprehensively equipped kitchen with integrated appliances and a dining table and chairs. A downstairs w.c. Stairs from the front door lead up to the first floor where there are two light, airy bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobe, bedside table and a chest of drawers with an outlook over the front of the property. The second bedroom has a double bed, open wardrobe and an outlook over the mature garden at the back. There is a bathroom with a shower over the bath, washbasin and WC. At the back of the cottage there is a large, very pretty enclosed garden and patio with furniture to enjoy the sun in the afternoon.

Unfortunately we are unable to accept pets at the cottage.
