A cosy, comfortable and clean apartment in a perfect location on the sea front with wonderful views. Easy reach of all amenities and local beaches, as well as a great base to do some of the spectacular walks nearby by. I would definitely stay here again and I loved the cream tea on arrival.
Lovely little apartment with fantastic views. we had a great stay there, despite the awful weather (very, very wet & Windy). However we did have a grandstand view of the massive waves breaking over the promenade! Would recommend this as a great place to stay, but bear in mind it''s on the 2nd floor, & there are lots of stairs!
Ideally situated for our needs of walking the South West Coast Path. Fabulous location, magnificent view & perfect for all facilities Sidmouth has to offer. The Aspect has everything you need, kitchen ticks all boxes, the view from the huge window is mesmerising, lovely hot shower & comfy bed after a long day’s walking. Tip: if you can’t get parked outside on the Esplanade - after dropping off everything, drive around to Glen Road where there’s free off road parking it’s only a 10 minute pleasant walk.
Beautiful property and we immediately felt right at home - that view is something else! Finbarr was such a responsive host and answered my few questions during our stay very quickly (even though the answers were quite clear in his welcome email which I only realised later… doh!) and the special touches like a bottle of wine and a cream tea in the fridge were really lovely to find when we arrived. Fab location right on the sea and everything you could want in Sidmouth on your doorstep.
I had a lovely stay in Finbarr’s apartment. The view from the large window is mesmerising, the sea is so close, you can lose hours just watching the changing colours. Even better when you open the window! The apartment itself is clean, warm and well appointed. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a welcome pack of a bottle of wine and a cream tea! The bed is super comfortable and the shower, while small, is clean with plenty of hot water. There are plenty of stairs to climb so this needs to be bared in mind. I had no real problem parking outside once I realised that there was generally a space outside between 5.50pm and 6.10pm! I bought a 4 day parking permit for £20 just in case. If there were any slight issues, I would say that I couldn’t undo the cold tap in the kitchen sink, and I occasionally struggled to lock the door and would have to jiggle the key until it worked. A food recycling bin would have been really helpful! Apart from that, I loved it!
This is a beautiful little apartment with amazing sea views and so close to local amenities. It''s our second visit and we hope to be back again soon!
