Description
Sweetbriars is an imposing and elegant family holiday home, situated in it’s own grounds, close to all of Sheringham’s amenities and sandy beach. It sleeps up to 8 in very spacious accommodation and has the added attraction of having a hot tub (at extra charge).
The accommodation is beautifully presented with a great eye for detail, and each room is unique and well furnished. There are either open fires or a wood burner in three of the principal reception rooms, so the whole house will have a cosy feel. The formal sitting room is comfortable and stylish, there is also a snug, garden room with a Foosball table and little room for puzzles. The panelled dining room just cries out to be formally set for memorable family occasions in front of the fire.
The kitchen is well equipped and perfect for cooking a family meal.
The four bedrooms are all, again beautifully furnished and styled, with painted floorboards and comfortable beds. There are several original features like fireplaces and doors in the bedrooms.
Sweetbriars is something very special indeed, and the perfect family holiday home, we know our Crabpot guests will return to year after year to make memories. The gardens are great for summer evenings and the hot tub is perfect all year round (extra charges) giving an added dimension to your holiday.
Sheringham is one of those timeless places you come back to year after year. Apart from the award winning Blue Flag beach, the town is home to many independent shops, galleries and restaurants, not to mention the fabulous fish and chips!
There is a traditional market twice a week. Sheringham is home to the Poppy Line, The North Norfolk Steam Railway, and this is the jewel in Sheringham’s crown. This attraction, run by volunteers is the focal point for many events over the year, including the famous 1940s weekend held in September.
There is something going on in Sheringham all year round run by a dedicated Carnival Committee. Sheringham Carnival held in August is a real treat for all the family, with tradition at its core. So much more than just the seaside.
