Magical Christmas Stay at Dairy Maid Cottage. Can't praise the Owner or cottage more . We arrived to festive twinkling lights & a wreathed door the first impression left us all speechless with magical festive vibes. Once inside we were again blown away with a huge Christmas tree & a fireplace all bedecked ... Lots of gasps , wows & blimey's being uttered ! Linda had literally thought of every treat possible to make our stay perfect & we feasted ourselves all week! Dairy Maid Cottage was a wonderful get away for a family needing to recharge it supplied everything we needed & more & can't thank our host enough for her kind generosity & thoughtfulness at making a truly magical Christmas 🎄
Again an amazing lovely relaxing time here, the cottage is great and the Xmas decorations made it even more special. The welcome pack was truly wonderful and so full of Xmas goodies, you are very generous Linda. This time we lit the log fire which was great. Everything you need is here, very clean, spacious, comfortable and warm. The area is quiet and seeing the robins and red squirrel in the garden was lovely.Thank you again we had a fantastic week and will be back for sure.
A beautiful cottage in a very good position, the cottage is well equipped & beautifully furnished. Every thing you could possibly want & more has been thought of, Linda & David completely spoiled us with cakes, crisps, sweets, plus a beautiful choice of savoury items, & biscuits for our dog, who could not be happy with that ! We both agreed it’s the best cottage we have rented for holidays & we do that twice a year all over the UK. The only tiny thing that was annoying more than anything as we go away for the peace & quiet, was the cottage next door Byre cottage had a dog staying there that barked day & night which was very aggravating. I did ask if they could stop it & it was ignored. We don’t allow our dog to behave like that so it is frustrating.
This property is always clean and well maintained. The welcome basket is always a treat for visitors and there pets. Nicely positioned just outside Shanklin in a quiet area with possibly the best all year dog beach on the island a short drive away just the otherside of Sandown. Always my first choice if avaliable. 6 a short drive away

Linda never disappoints to make the guest feel special. Fabulous walks and wildlife Galore and including visits from red squirrels, Tastefully decorated And clean, A lovely home from home With everything you need for a great holiday. Excellent value,
