Beautiful cottage that has everything you need, really comfortable and clean. Easy access on arrival. Great communication from the owners. The cottage is set in a lovely friendly village with amenities all within walking distance. The beach is really close by. We have stayed in this cottage lots of times and we will most certainly return.
We’ve had a lovely few days in shaldon following Christmas. The cottage was spotless and really homely with everything you could possibly need In the kitchen. The beds and bedding were so comfortable we had a great sleep every night. The cottage was extremely clean and Sara was a great host and was always prompt to respond to messages! I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again!
it’s difficult to describe how special no. 11 the Green really is! From the wonderful host, to the fantastic location and the cleanliness of the property. The cottage is always spotless and cleaned to the highest standard. The beds are super comfy and the rooms are decorated with a neutral calming tones. The kitchen is a great communal space for the family with a utility space and WC / shower room. The living spaces look out over the green and have a lovely small patio to the front to sit out with a glass of wine (or two). Right in the heart of shaldon this property couldn’t be more perfect. The London inn just across the green is a fantastic PH with great food and the beach just a very short walk away! We have stopped here atleast once a year and hope to continue to do so in the future. Thank you to the hosts for a number of fantastic stays and their continued attention to detail giving us a lot of precious memories. If you’re looking to stay in Shaldon this is one of the best properties around.
We have just returned from a weekend stay at Sara''s lovely cottage to celebrate my husband''s 50th. From start to finish Sara was absolutely brilliant - quick and helpful responses to all my questions and really helpful recommendations for local eateries etc. The house is in a great location and is a real "home from home", equipped with everything you need. We didn''t have any young children but noted that Sara even had a supply of plastic cutlery which we would have found very helpful back in the day! Sara''s thoughtful welcome pack was a lovely unexpected surprise and it was fabulous to be able to bring along our family dog. The house was spotless too - really can''t fault our experience. Thank you so much Sara - we will be back!
Great stay - accommodation lovely, house very clean and beautifully presented. Had everything we needed as well as extra thoughtful touches. Very easy check in and check out, really clear information provided for everything and Sara was super friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend staying here and would love to stay again in the future.
Highly recommend, 5* cottage rental with everything thought of in great detail. We stayed almost 2 weeks, and would not hesitate in choosing again. Owners extremely responsive & helpful. Thank you !
