In July and August all bookings must be for 7 nights and start and end on a Saturday. Please check the calendar for the weeks still available to book.

Our riverside gîte is set within one half of a converted stone barn and offers beautiful views out over the lower garden and the Vézère river and valley. With 3 bedrooms it comfortably accommodates 6 people.

The Kitchen
This lovely open plan kitchen/diner is well equipped with everything you might need for a relaxing holiday, including a dishwasher and washing machine. The large windows allow uninterrupted views over the lower garden and the new swimming pool, as well as the Vézère river and valley beyond.

The Terrace Garden
The terrace garden can be accessed by big glass doors from both the kitchen and sitting room, and extends the space for entertaining out into the garden. The large shaded table is big enough to accommodate everyone, and is the perfect place for relaxing with views of both the village and the river valley.

The Sitting Room
This is a large room leading off the open plan kitchen which creates a huge space where everyone can relax together. Windows fill the east side of the room providing lots of light and easy access to the private terrace garden.

Bedroom 1
This bedroom is light and airy, and has its own private terrace, with lovely views out over the private swimming pool and the Vézère river and valley beyond. It provides a quiet space for sunbathing, relaxing in peace with a book or simply somewhere to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Vézère. This bedroom is large enough to accommodate a cot or put up bed if required.

Bedroom 2
This is the smallest bedroom with two single beds and built in corner shelving. The wardrobe is directly opposite the bedroom.

Bedroom 3
This double bedroom is at the end of the landing and has windows on both sides. it is a spacious room with a large chest of drawers and lots of hanging space. This bedroom is large enough for a cot or put up bed if required.

The Bathroom
This small bathroom is on the ground floor and is accessed from the sitting room. The bath is half size, (suitable for children) with an overhead shower. There is a WC, basin and bidet. The room is fully tiled and has a full length mirror.

The Shower Room
This spacious shower room between bedroom 1 and bedroom 2, is light and bright and equipped with a large double basin unit with full width wall mirror, and walk in shower. Fully tiled in blue, white and yellow. There is a separate WC opposite the shower room.

The Private Swimming Pool
You will have exclusive use of the new heated swimming pool (June through to September), which was completed in May 2021. Measuring 4.5m x 12m and 1.5m deep, it is perfect for splashing around in, but also long enough for keen swimmers to have a good workout. This new pool is located in the lower garden just below the gîte, and directly alongside the river. The setting is beautiful with wonderful views out over the Vézère river and valley beyond.

The Gardens & Grounds
Guests staying in Lo Gorro have access to all the main grounds at L'Enclos, with exclusive use of the Lower Garden and the new swimming pool. This private garden lies directly below the gîte, and has the river running along its full length. The main garden has a table tennis table and badminton net, and if you want to play boules, the village square has a large area for this which is popular with the locals! There is also a good village tennis court two minutes walk from the gîte which is free to use. Tennis rackets and balls are available. For younger visitors, there are some swings and a slide.
