The Spires is a lovely first floor apartment situated in the town of Scarborough just twenty miles from Whitby, North Yorkshire. The apartment can sleep four people in two bedrooms, one double bedroom with en-suite shower and one twin bedroom as well as having a family bathroom. Also in the apartment is a kitchen with a breakfast bar and a sitting room with dining area. Outside is roadside parking with free permit. The Spires is a spacious apartment and a lovely base from which to explore this historic part of the country and enjoy the beautiful South Cliff Gardens featuring the Rose Garden and The Italian Garden. The South Cliff Gardens have recently had a 5 million pound renovation and is full of lovely walks down to the sea and along to the Cleveland Way. There is also many activities for children in the Summertime and an adventure playground and the delicious traditional food of the historical Clock Cafe opened in 1918.

a very handy location

Had a great stay at 'the Spires'. We had two concerts at the Scarborough Spa so a very handy location. Flat was warm and cosy with well equipped kitchen. We happened to be there during a brief period of very cold weather, so spent longer indoor than we normally do when visiting Scarborough. A brief walk to the North Bay esplanade. The parking situation is really good, with scratch cards and timer discs.

Lovely apartment

The apartment was lovely and welcoming, well equipped and a great location with local amenities close by. Beautifully furnished and cosy feel about the place. We had an issue with the key for the main door on arrival which was dealt with promptly by the cleaner attending along with Jim the owner the next day calling in to check everything was ok. Very kind of him to do so. We would definitely recommend this apartment to family and friends and we will be back again. Thank you again Yvonne and Jim!

We loved our stay here. The facilities are great. There is a bathroom and ensuite with shower. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, oven hob and Dulce Gusto coffee machine and washing machine. There is a breakfast bar in the kitchen and a dining table in the living room. The wifi works well and the TV has YouTube so my kids were happy.

So convenient, a one minute walk to South Cliffs overlooking The Pavillion and two minutes to Sainsbury''''s local. Easy walk into centre too. It was easy to park as permit allowed many places nearby. Everything we needed, except bottle opener and grater, but you get by. Really comfy beds and plenty of lovely towels. Well worth staying at.
