Description

Beautiful 17century stone house with private pool set in a large tranquil garden on the outskirts of Sarlat-la-Canéda.
It is less than a 5 minute drive to the town centre.
Lavender cottage sleeps a maximum of four people this includes children and babies.
The house and pool have a southerly aspect so benefit all day from the sun.
There is private off road parking for two cars.
Nearest restaurant is 500m nearest boulangerie is 900 m

Lavander cottage is set in a large peaceful garden with its own private pool, which profits from the sun all day.
There are sun loungers and parasols around the pool and pool towels are provided. The pool is cleaned daily and is open from 9am to 21:00pm.
The garden is large and well stocked and is also south facing so benefits from the sun all day.
There is table tennis and a hammock secluded away in the trees.
There is a large charcoal bbq.
There are two terraces where you can dine or simply relax.
Both bedrooms have there own en-suite bathrooms.
Bedroom 1 has a 160cm bed and leads onto a terrace.
Bedroom 2 has two single adult beds.
The cottage is close to Sarlat-la-Canéda town centre , less than 5 minutes in a car and a 20 minute walk.
There are two supermarkets just 5 minutes drive from the house and another 3 supermarkets within 10 minutes of the house.
There is a food market on a Wednesday morning and a full market on a Saturday in Sarlat la Caneda.
Lavander cottage is 17th century cottage that has all the modern conveniences including air conditioning to make your holiday comfortable and enjoyable.
Lavander Cottage is truely a place to relax, contemplate and unwind, yet it is superbly located so that all the Dordogne’s attractions can be visited with ease.
The car park is off road and is suitable for two cars.
A welcome pack is awaiting for you which includes cheese, pate,butter, bread, milk, tea, coffee and orange juice and wine.
A house starter kit is provided toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets dish detergent etc. are provided.
There is fibre internet at the house also there is good internet on the terraces.
The house is only for a maximum of four people, this includes children and babies, no pets are allowed.
It is no smoking in the house, smoking is allowed in the garden.
The wood burning fire is closed from May to end of September.
Checking is from 4pm and checkout is at 10am, unless agreed otherwise, out of high season it is more flexible.
Guest access
The whole garden is available for guests to explore.
Other things to note
Check in from 16:00 and check out is no later than 10:00.
There is a comprehensive tourist dossier at the house to help you enjoy all what the Dordogne has to offer.
We are more than happy to make restaurant or activity reservations and are always willing to help and offer advice.
Out of season check in can sometimes be variable if possible.
There is free private parking next to the house.
Smoking is not prohibited in the house and we do not accept any animals.
For all bookings of a week or longer aswell as a food welcome pack there will be fresh flowers and complimentary champagne for your arrival.
We follow all Covid protocols for cleaning.
