Description

This beautiful provencal villa was built in 2008 to very high standards with wonderful views, a completely fenced garden of a good size and a heated swimming pool 12 ms x 4ms. The house sleeps 8 in four bedrooms with three bath/shower rooms on two levels. It is 2kms from the centre of Salernes. The house is tastefully furnished with both antique and modern and the house is full of interesting items from all over the world. Salernes has a Provencal market each Wednesday and Sunday, many small shops, bakeries and restaurants as well as 3 reasonably sized supermarkets. Lorgues, Cotignac, Aups. Villecroze,Tourtour and Entrecasteux are all close by and are interesting places to visit.

Accommodation
From the front door you enter a hallway which leads to the right to the sitting room, dining area and kitchen, all open plan, and the upstairs bedrooms or to the left, to two downstairs double bedrooms each with ‘en suite’ bathrooms. One with a bath and the other with a special shower for massage. The master bedroom has French windows to the garden and the other has a window to the front of the house. There is a separate WC.

The sitting room is large and has a woodburning stove, two sofas and a rocking chair. There is a large flat screen TV for DVD’s only, a CD player and wifi. There are two French windows to the south facing terrace. The kitchen is well designed with a breakfast bar and four bar stools. It is very suitable for entertaining as it has two ovens, a gas hob and a ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave and all the cooking utensils imaginable. There is a door to the south facing terrace which has tables and chairs. The dining area is next to the kitchen and has a large table and eight dining room chairs. There is a utility room with a large fridge freezer and washing machine and a drying rack.

Upstairs there are two more bedrooms, one south facing with a window overlooking the pool and the view, this has a double bed. The other bedroom has a window looking over the front of the house and has twin beds. There is a shower room on this floor and a separate WC. This means that there is plenty of privacy for those upstairs as well as those downstairs as the bedroom areas are at opposing ends of the house.

Outside
The house has electric gates for security and plenty of parking in the front. From the side door of the utility room is a BBQ, and on the south side there are two terraces one covered with a large table and chairs for eight and an open terrace also south facing with another table with four chairs. In front of the terrace is a grassy area and a slope to a lower level where the heated pool is situated. The pool is 12 x 4 ms and a depth of 180cms with a shallow area for toddlers or just lying around. There is a security cover which is motorised and is good for keeping the heat in overnight, and the leaves out. The garden is completely fenced and has plenty of grassy area for playing and there are wonderful views over the countryside.

Guests are permitted to bring 1 well trained, quiet and well behaved dog per rental. Please clean up any mess your dog leaves and do not allow dogs to access the bedrooms.

Because of its lay out there is a lot of space and one is not on top of each other, even with a group of 8. There are many places to visit, lovely markets and restaurants all nearby. Great walks, you are in the country with lovely views on to a vineyard but yet not isolated. The fact that the pool is heated meant that we could swim even at this time of the year (May), which makes it a great place to stay out of season as well. The villa is well maintained and absolutely spotless. Thank you dear owners for letting us stay at your ‘little’ paradise. Definitely hope to come back."

"Actually, I would like to leave a very bad review here, because I hope that not too many people discover this perfect house...Everything is great: location is a beautiful region with nice villages and beautiful nature, on the edge of the town of Salernes where summer is a lot of fun activity. The facilities of the house are also top notch: four good bedrooms, three bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful outdoor area, great swimming pool. All this with an unobstructed view over vineyards and hills and in the evening only the sound of crickets. We will definitely come back!"

Perfection
Limani is absolute perfection, both inside and out, and is a credit to the owners. Inside it was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable, and the outdoor seating and dining areas are ideal for enjoying the tranquility of the beautiful setting. The fabulous pool is the icing on the cake and is perfect for cooling off in the warm weather. There is nothing we could suggest as an improvement, and we were all very sorry to leave after a fantastic 2 weeks.........S.Whitby and family, stayed for two weeks in August 2023
