Maison du Guerledan is a larger than average than average holiday rental dating back to 1771.
It is located in a peaceful and picturesque setting just 2 miles from Lake Guerlédan which is eight miles long. Here you will find several safe beaches, lots of water sports and numerous restaurants.
This cottage has a large garden (approx 2 acres) with a private heated swimming pool for the sole use of the guests staying at the cottage.
The spacious living room and contemporary kitchen/dining area are open plan with a dual aspect to the front and rear gardens giving a bright and airy feel to the house. The lounge area has two large comfy sofas, ideal for relaxing in front of the English Freesat TV.
The kitchen is well equipped with an integrated electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker and washing machine.
The spacious master bedroom has a large oak king size bed which then leads to a large en-suite shower room with walk-in shower, vanity unit and w.c.
The second and third bedrooms are twins with two single beds and share a family bathroom with bath (shower above), sink and w.c.
The cottage has Starlink internet so guests can connect to their own Netflix and Prime accounts via the smart TV .
A large selection of books, games, DVD’s and toys for children of all ages are provided.
Bed linen is provided and beds are made up for your arrival, bath mats, T towels and cleaning materials are also in the cottage. You will need to bring your own pool and house towels.
Outside there is a large patio area with charcoal BBQ, outdoor table and chairs and a selection of other chairs, parasols and sun loungers.
The swimming pool is approx 8mx 4.2m and 1.4m deep. The pool is heated during the months from mid May to mid September and is fitted with a motion detector alarm to comply with French law.
We do not make a final clean compulsory and leave guests to make their own decision as to whether they wish to leave the cottage as they found it. Alternatively guests can have the option of a final clean service if required.
To secure the cottage we require a 25% non refundable deposit and the remaining balance is payable 12 weeks before your arrival along with the £200 security deposit. The security deposit will be refunded within 48 hours of your departure as long as there no damage to the property and swimming pool.
The cottage has a Saturday to Saturday rental period. For w.c 19/7 and 26/7 it’s a minimum of a 14 night rental.
