Description

Look out of Cobden View’s windows to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the glorious hills and countryside of Sabden Valley and Pendle Hill. The comfortably furnished, fully equipped, spacious cottage is in its own grounds at Cobden Farm, a hillside beef and sheep farm.. All you need to bring are yourselves, food and refreshments! Well behaved pets are welcome too.
The cottage sleeps up to 5 people (there is a good quality fold-up bed that's available if needed).
** FOR SHORT BREAKS OF TWO OR MORE NIGHTS, PLEASE JUST ASK ABOUT RATES!
The enclosed, private rear garden faces south and includes decking, a BBQ, chairs and a table for al fresco dining. From here, enjoy the amazing sunsets (and sunrises!) that bathe the Valley.;On cooler days, you can light up the log burner in the sitting room for a cosy night in. It all adds up to a beautiful get-away-from-it-all setting - yet still within five miles of main and motorway road networks.
;You can walk out of the door and set off from Cobden View on one of the many public footpaths that crisscross Sabden Valley. A Pendle Hill walk is a must-do.
Why not link up with one of the cycle or mountain bike routes not far away. Catch a bus - there's an hourly service through Sabden. Or maybe explore the glorious Forest of Bowland National Landscape that stretches from Sabden and Pendle Hill across the fells and fields towards Lancaster and the Fylde coastline.
Sabden is an amazing village with plenty for all ages to enjoy and with a fascinating history. A Calico and Clogs trail, a treasure hunt-style route, a play park, shops, pubs, a cafe, a bowling green. It's one of many pretty villages in the Ribble Valley and Forest of Bowland. Visit the nearby market town of Clitheroe, where Clitheroe Castle is a popular venue. For a full day out, Lancaster, Manchester, Blackpool and the Fylde Coast, the Yorkshire Dales, the Peak District and Haworth Country are about an hour away.
