We’ve seen red squirrels, it was a first, how beautiful an experience it was. Sandbed is an amazing place to stay, no fireworks to be heard. Very comfortable all round. Brilliant walks, even though a bit wet, dogs loved the long walks. The waterfalls and the array of colours with the foliage was amazing. Thank you Anne & Martin. (Taken from visitor book)

What a beautiful place to stay, so peaceful and watching the birds and the red squirrel has been a highlight. Lovely walks- Cautley spout + the Calf, Nine Standards Rigg, Wild Boar fell and the viaducts walk. Farfield Mill in Sedbergh, the town it’s self definitely worth a visit as is the chocolate factory in Orton.
Had a lovely week’s holiday in this cosy cottage. The weather was much better than anticipated. Walked up Wild Boar fell to the cairns at the top, the views were amazing and was so peaceful. Loved watching the birds on the feeder, we saw Great Tits, Blue Tits, Coal Tits, Nuthatches, and the Woodpeckers. Was a real treat to see the red squirrel.
