My favourite place
By Jill Davison on 10-Mar-2025I can’t count the number of times I’ve visited the Gatehouse but every visit has been wonderful. The sun always seems to shine there and the house is so charming and well equipped. I just love the character. The area itself is excellent- everything you need without driving and a dog lover’s heaven. You are literally in a park- what more could a dog desire? Oh- a short walk through the park and you’re on a beach dogs can access all year round, perfect! Lots of new excellent venues in Ramsgate and more to come. Take a lovely walk in the other direction and you can enjoy the quaint Broadstairs with its many facilities Easy coastal walks in either direction and your never far from a cafe to recharge. Lots of really big supermarkets a short drive if you feel the need but we get food delivered and avoid driving for the duration which is such a treat. Just love it and the owner is so nice too 😊 Absolutely my perfect getaway
