Pugwash is a 2 bedroom miners cottage nestled at the bottom of Tregea Hill, yards away from Portreath beach.Pugwash is the perfect home from home, mixing character beamed ceilings, exposed stonework, inglenook fireplace, welcoming wood burner and modern day amenities.
Pugwash highlights
• The main front room provides a relaxing space after a long day at the beach, challenging hikes along the cliffs or nature walks at Tehidy woods.
• The kitchen provides the perfect environment for some home cooked food on a range cooker.
• The large front bedroom is spacious and full of light with a double bed, wardrobe, dressing table & stool, chair and chest of drawers.
• The back bedroom has two single beds a wardrobe & sharing bedside table.
• The bathroom, with bath & shower is located upstairs.
The enclosed garden at the front of the property is a spacious sunny area split over two levels with a stone bench and garden table and chairs to soak up the Cornish atmosphere, and within easy walking distance to the beach, cafe's, pubs and shops, this is a perfect haven away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Pugwash Cottage has on site parking for one vehicle.
Located a short drive from the A30, it's location makes it the ideal spot to explore the local area's tin mining heritage, Tehidy woods, Lady Basset baths or join the South West Coastal pathways for stunning walks to Porthtowan or Hayle and St Ives, taking in the scenery of the Celtic fringes of the far west, all possible from this wonderfully located holiday home.
Pugwash is easily accessible to the surrounding coastal areas of Perranporth, Falmouth and Truro or even further afield locations such as Penzance, Helford and Porthcurno.
