Just returned from a fabulous week in Port Eynon, we stayed in Barley cottage which had amazing views of the bay. Just a few minutes walk from the cottage to the beach which was perfect for the children. Food at the local pub was tasty and only a few minutes walk away So much to see in the area, we are looking forward to returning to explore and spend more quality time as a family and making memories.
Wow! What a fantastic place this was to stay. Malt cottage was spotlessly clean, had really comfy beds, was well equipped and with fabulous views across the bay at Port Eynon. Port Eynon itself is a lovely little village with a pub, a bar, cafe and chip shop (all within a 3 minute walk of the cottage). No need for cooking in the evening here. Food at the pub was really good. So many fabulous beaches and walks to to go on, in the immediate area and a short drive away. Will definitely be back again soon.
Had another great stay at Croft Acre Cottages on beautiful Gower, mainly for work, but managed to get lots of dog-walking on the beaches in as well. Fantastic views of the ocean waves from storms Ali and Bronagh from the big dining room window doors. Jitu was extremely helpful and accommodating, even when I managed to get my departure date mixed up and left a day later than I had booked.
Always an excellent holiday. The location is perfect. The cottage is the perfect size for us as a family. This was our fourth stay. The quality of the facilities is high and they are regularly updated. We appreciated the new smart tv this year! Already planning next years trip.
Stayed in Fennel Cottage, for nine nights at the end of June. The Cottage was delightful with a garden over looking Port Eyenon Beach. The Cottage was very comfortable with 4 bedrooms sleeping 8. It was fully equipped with everything needed for a self catering stay! The house itself was spacious and modern inside with a lounge diner on the first floor with a balcony looking out to sea across the Bristol Channel. The whole arrangement of Cottages were all different in various shapes and sizes, but all were immaculately maintained and cleaned. The facilities Management were excellent, always on hand to answer any question and give advice on local amenities, without being over intrusive. The Cottages are set in the most beautiful village with a coffee house, surf shop, convenience store, Pub, takeaway or eat in Fish and Chip shop and a wonderful Restaurant called the Smugglers! These Cottages have been an amazing find due to the fact that they provide modern spacious accommodation in a stunning village setting, virtually on the Beach. For anybody seeking a totally relaxing Holiday in a home from home then this should be your first choice!!! Many thanks to the owner and staff of these splendid Cottages, keep up the good work and see you in the Autumn for a return visit!!
We stayed 6 nights on B&B basis at the Rickyard. Excellent room in good decorative order with attentive helpful hosts ready to help with any questions or requests. No noise from passing traffic as property situated away from road. TV and broadband provided. Plenty of storage space in room and comfortable bed. Sufficient accessible power points for charging mobiles etc. Good bathroom with shower over. Delicious breakfast served individually at time chosen by guest. Close to beach, pub and restaurant plus fish and chip shops. Secure off road parking on site. Very enjoyable stay and would stay again.
