Our beloved Ty Mari holiday cottage has been our family since 1969. Providing a cosy base for families to explore the Cambrian Mountains and Mid Wales. It boasts panoramic views, and a rustic cultural Welsh charm that makes it popular with international visitors from across the world.

Our sister accommodation, The Penroc holiday cottage is adjoining with soundproofed intercommunicating double doors. (P218203). Both properties are managed by Justin, husband of Deborah who together with her three siblings owns the cottages as part of the The Tuckwell Trust.

These cottages are rented out separately; however the two together make the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for 10 to celebrate together, as the conjoined space provides room for parties including your furry four-legged friends.

Fabulous cottage

Ty Mari a fabulous cottage. Wonderful location in one of the most beautiful valleys in Wales. Exceptionally well equipped and comfortable. Had a very relaxing couple of weeks and will definitely return.

The five members of the Early Mines Research Group have stayed at Ty Mari most years since 1993. That we have returned again and again to this well-appointed, cosy cottage in an idyllic location should say it all about how much we appreciate it. The always helpful owners and people who maintain it make our one, two or sometimes three-week long visits something that we always look forward to - and we will be back again in 2021!
