stables cottage are situated one and a half miles from the village of Snainton, where you will find a local shop/ petrol station, great local pub / restaurant serving superb food & a fish & chip shop . THE PROPERTY HAS ITS OWN PARKING & GARDENThe views from either cottage are simply stunning, with private patios for you to sit out on & enjoy the views. Here is a lovely area to walk or cycle from the door of your cottage. We are ideally placed for touring the coast or the North York Moors , with local market towns of Helmsley & Pickering close by. You may also like to visit the Historic city of York with its fantastic shopping or tourist attractions such as the Viking Museum, York Minster, or the Railway Museum all of which are short drive away.
NEW for is the Scarborough water park a great attraction for the children. Whitby , Filey, or the beautiful beach of Sands End are all within easy reach by car.

Great rural location for exploring North Yorkshire or just sitting in front of the fire with a book! Spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. Would love to come back in the Summer and explore further.

By Emma Fletcher on 01-Sep-2024Not long returned from our week's stay at the Stables cottage. This is the sixth year we've been. It's perfect for a family holiday. The cottage is always spotless, comfortable and well equipped. On the rare occasion there has been an issue, Kevin and Jane have been on hand and fixed it immediately. They kindly provide a lovely welcome pack and goal posts for our football mad son. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful, with easy access to fabulous nearby attractions. We look forward to returning soon.

Jane and Kevin have 2 amazing cottages in a beautiful location. Thoroughly loved our 4 night stay and hope to revisit again. can't recommend highly enough. thank you Jane and Kevin for a wonderful stay

The Stables cottage is perfectly tucked away in the country side but close enough to discover the local area. The cottage is tastefully decorated to a high standard everything you need has been thought off. A welcome pack of milk and biscuits greeted us. We really enjoyed our relaxing stay and visited some lovely places. If you looking for super accommodation, lovely owners and a safe space this is the place to go. Can’t wait to go again xx thank you Jane and Kevin just want the doctor ordered Xx

The cottage is tucked away in quiet farmland which was incredibly peaceful. It’s a great location to explore the North Yorkshire coast, towns and cities and perfect to come back to for a relaxing wood burner fire and evening drinks.

Lots of outdoor space (including swingball and football net) next to patio area/bbq. Black out blinds in bedrooms so we all blissfully slept in. DVD player in open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Within 30 mins drive to lots of different beaches/Alpamare Water Park/North Yorkshire Water Park and the moors. My boys said they liked the ''homeliness'' of the accommodation (table lamps, comfy arm chairs and footstool) and the countryside views outside. I appreciated the extra touches to make the stay special - beautiful smelling hand-wash/lotion, room fragrance, tea lights by the bath. My bedroom felt like a spa retreat with the bath in the corner! Jane and Kevin have renovated the buildings beautifully and have thought about every detail. Thank you both for your hospitality during our stay - hope to see you again!
