Privately owned and run, The Home Barn at Cornish Barn Holidays is a charming and spacious retreat for two located in the picturesque countryside of Cornwall. This beautifully converted barn offers a blend of rustic charm and modern amenities, making it a perfect getaway for couples. This Barn does not accept pets and this is a strict policy, so it is ideal for those with allergies.
It is attached to the main farm house but has its own parking and entrance so it is totally private and undisturbed by us, unless you want to be .. we are always available to help if required.
Reverse accommodation ...The bedroom is on the ground floor with its ensuite bathroom and walk-in deluge shower and the modern kitchen and glorious glazed sitting room are on the first floor. The interiors are thoughtfully decorated, retaining old and new in balance, providing a peaceful sanctuary for a restful stay. Outside, there is a private garden as well as the lovely balcony where guests can enjoy the stunning rural views and fresh air.
Overall, The Home Barn combines comfort and style, making it an inviting place to relax and explore the beauty of Cornwall. It is also close to Devoran (good food pub, bus stops, creek, quay and excellent bird watching) with bicycles to hire near by.
The Barn is also about 1.5 mile mile walk to the village of Perranwell. Here you will find a really good pub, The Royal Oak, is highly recommended..
It is a 10 minute walk up the lane to the local branch line station that runs between Truro and Falmouth. The bus stops there as well. So those of you who want to leave the car behind and explore will find it most convenient.
Please note we are approached by a typical ancient Cornish country lane, this can be off putting for some, but for most it seems to add to the charm of arriving at the Home Barn and just getting away from it all.
