Leave ReviewAmazing location, brilliant hosts, beautiful area
By Graham on 23-Oct-2023Second time in Workshop, fourth stay with Stones Cottages. Workshop is a home from home, with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. It easily fits a family of four with space left to swing a few cats, is warm and well spec'd. Dan and Shani are excellent hosts, there is no end to what they'll do to make you happy. The location is quiet and removed from hustle and bustle whilst only being a stones throw from town. A brilliant base to explore Pembrokeshire.
Fabulous week with friends
By Steve on 31-Oct-2024We loved the peace and quiet of the cottage which is located a short distance from the coast near Strumble Head. Loads of opportunities for outdoor activities; our group cycled, walked lots of the coast path, used our SUP and swam! We regretted not bringing our kayak as there's lots of sheltered bays and interesting coastline to explore. Our dogs loved the enclosed fields which adjoin the property and of course, the beaches and local walks. Note that the door opens onto a garden area that is not enclosed and sheep are nearby so worth bearing in mind. The cottage was cosy and there was ample hot water. We missed a few things in the kitchen but we are keen cooks. Dan and Shani are excellent hosts. We brought 2 electric cars in our group and loved that we could recharge very reasonably at the house. Also loved all the little eco touches - cleaning products and toiletries and good recycling - as this is important to us.
Cosy, relaxing, perfect

Special place to stay
By Seamus on 10-Mar-2024We've been coming to Stones Cottages for years now, with family groups of various sizes. Everything is so thoughtfully done and in tune with nature - it's the perfect place to unwind. We love being out and about on the beaches and the coastal path or down at the Mill for breakfast, but it is always lovely to just chill out at the cottages and soak up the surroundings. Dan, Shani and their family are so warm and welcoming, it really does feel like home-from-home.
