Why Visit Pazios – quiet but alive, a village surrounded by vineyards and mountains with easy but stunning access to The Pyrenees, the beach and ancient fortified castles / chateaux. Centrally located for a peaceful but interesting holiday with easy access to the Mediterranean coast, interesting cities like Carcassonne, Perpignan and Narbonne and only an hour to the Spanish boarder.

Things to do – without driving you can swim in the river, participate in wine tasting, stroll or hike through the stunning countryside, explore by bicycle, go fishing, play tennis or do nothing ! A short drive will take you to waterparks, art galleries, Go Carting, horse riding and much more

Things to See – Very close to Tautavel which has magnificent ancient caves, several fortified castles, an aquarium and many museums. Summer is the season for French Fetes which are similar to our farmers markets v festivals and are an excuse to celebrate anything from the humble potato to fortified wine !

History – Surrounding the village are historical monuments, chateaux’s, fortes and many historical attractions. The local tourist shops will provide you with personalised routes dependant on your interests
