Description
Welcome to Coastline Cottage, situated on the most easterly point of England's beautiful coastline at Pakefield Suffolk. Ideal for romantic breaks, family beach holidays and relaxing getaways. Comprising of two bedrooms and sleeps four, we welcome a small dog.Our traditional end-terraced fisherman’s cottage, overlooks a grassed open space area. There is a gorgeous sea view from the king size 4 poster bed in the front bedroom upstairs.
Situated in a perfect location for a seaside holiday. The stunning beach is only a short, safe walk away along a promenade and is fully lifeguarded in the summer months. The soft, golden sand is perfect for building sandcastles, and is wonderfully safe for little ones. We are very child friendly and have a large selection of equipment needed for young children(available on request)
The beach is also perfect for water sports- swimming, bodyboarding, windsurfing, paddle boarding and sea fishing... with cafes and shops close to the beach, you really can spend all day there.
The beach opposite the cottage is a mixture of sand and shingle and totally dog friendly, giving miles of lovely walks with your pet, all year around.
Retaining original charm, Coastline cottage is ideal holiday accommodation at any time of year. Well positioned for all that Pakefield has to offer. There are some fabulous pub/restaurants, take-a-ways and a few supermarkets/shops within a short walk. In addition Asda and Tesco & Morrison are able to deliver your shopping after you arrive. There are two pubs within a few minute walk, The Jolly sailors and the Trowel and Hammer offering a variety of meals. A good choice of takeaways such as Mr Chips offering fish and chips, burgers, kababs' and pizzas. An Indian take-away that comes highly recommend all within walking distance from the cottage. Relax at the cottage or take dinner over to the grass area, in front of the cottage overlooking the sea or down to the beach.
Coastline Cottage has two bedrooms, a cosy living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a bath/shower room. It also has a enclosed courtyard area with garden furniture - the perfect place to relax after a day exploring. In addition, a safe retreat for your four legged friend. There are lots of lovely doggy friendly places to visit in the local area.
Upstairs to
Bedroom 1 - King size four poster bed with wardrobe, chest of drawers, TV and sea view.
Bedroom 2 - Two single beds plus cot if required with wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Lounge - Two double sofas. Smart TV, dining table and four chairs. High chair available on request. Sideboard with family games and books
Kitchen - Fully equipped kitchen with full size fridge freezer, oven and hob, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine. Leading to our enclosed rear garden.
Bathroom - Full size bath, shower cubical, toilet and wash basin.
Outside - Gated enclosed garden with small summer house equipped with garden relaxing chairs, windbreak and beach items buckets spades etc. Washing line.
Your beds will be made all ready for your arrival.
Bath towels are provided but we do ask you to bring your own beach towels.
Electricity and gas provided in the cost of your stay, (except for EV car charging). A small amount of logs will be supplied in the winter months for the log burner.
Please note smoking is not permitted inside the cottage.
Unlimited WiFi with a Smart TV (own login required for Netflix, prime etc).
We provide a welcome tray with tea, coffee and milk so that you can relax on arrival.

Good location for pubs, takeaways,places to visit and great dog walks straight onto the beach from the front door. Hosts very welcoming and keen to please.Would definitely recommend. Perfect for our needs
By Gill on 19-Jan-2025We found the cottage perfect for our needs, as a couple with a dog. Pakefield is a dog friendly area, but is also great if you like walking and fantastic local pubs . The cottage is yards from two pubs, the beach, a fish and chip shop and wonderful local Art gallery
Great sea view from bed
By Chris G on 04-Mar-2024Chris G. Nunhead 5 out of 5 Absolutely brilliant. Nice, clean tidy house with amazing view from main bedroom. Trips to other places nearby like Beccles. Walked down the beach to Kessingland and got the bus back (check the tides if you want to do this).Went to Ness Point, cool to say that I went to Eastern most point of the country, but actual Lowestoft wasn''t that nice in February when I went. Pakefield area much nicer. Walked to Oulton Broad South, lovely park there. Breakfast in The Thatch - very good.
