Lovely house, super location to the beach and the Coastal Path for walking and all that North Cornwall has to offer. The owner was very helpful and thoughtful. Nothing was too much trouble.
A truly beautiful house in a perfect location. The house is a perfect blend of old and new, with plenty of period features sensitively preserved alongside all the modern creature comforts. Very well equipped kitchen with a huge Aga at its heart, opening into the great family dining room, which then opens into the pretty well maintained walled garden. You hardly need the other three beautifully furnished reception rooms! We all enjoyed our stay immensely and the owner was very responsive and super helpful at all times. Thank you - we’ll be back next year!
Apart from the stunning views of the Countryside & the Sea from the house this rental ticks all the boxes for a fabulous holiday. Beach is 6 minutes walk, great walks of coastal paths nearby & the house itself is spacious, beautifully furnished & very well equipped. Would thoroughly recommend this rental for a relaxing holiday.
This was the perfect property for a relaxing holiday with an extended family group. It is exceptionally well equipped and very comfortable with plenty of space to spread out. The location is great with fantastic views. Only short work walk to Porthcothan beach and a short drive to Padstow and other lovely beaches. Tim the owner could not have been more helpful and welcoming.
Wow what a fantastic week we''ve just had! The house is just as beautiful as in the photos and easily housed all three generations of our family. The beds are super comfortable, lots of bathrooms and we even learned to cook on an Aga! Tim was a wonderful host, very welcoming and thoughtful. Thank you for a lovely week and for arranging the sunshine too!
Wonderful period property that really felt like home. Every detail was provided from quality wine glasses to two toasters and the owner helped us plan our stay and find restaurants and dog boarders. Excellent location close to the beautiful and in my view probably underrated Porthcothan beach. Couldn''t fault it.
