Chequer’s really is the quaint cozy cottage, set on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moor just a mile above the picturesque village of Osmotherley, with stunning views from the cottage, looking up towards the Yorkshire Dales, with they Cleveland Way running along side it. Perfect for Walking, cyclists and Nature lovers (wildlife photographers will be in there elements with over one hundred species of bird life)
Originally a drovers’ inn, dating back over 450 years is full of character with its stone floors, old beams and wood burning stoves.
Chequers is a perfect base for the dales, moors, the coast and the beautiful city of York, 20 minutes to the centre from Northallerton train station
