We have just enjoyed two wonderful weeks at Wagon Hill. The gite is a proper home from home in a lovely area (beautiful villages, great markets, bistros, chateaux) And the hosts, Brenda & Davy are lovely people as well as very helpful. We loved it and recommend it unreservedly.

Great well equipped Gite with beautiful views across open countryside. The pool was used everyday along with the barbecue on several evenings. Brenda And David great hosts and recommend some fantastic activities. High lights were a wine tour and a canoe trip down the Dordogne river . Gite I ideally placed for exploring the the local towns and markets .

Stayed at Wagon Hill for 2 weeks. The gite is stunning even better than expected. A friendly welcome from the owners Brenda and David really nice people. The Welcome pack was very much appreciated, very thoughtful. Gite is very comfortable with quality everywhere. Great garde to relax in and enjoy the pool. Enjoyed seeing the hare in the garden, little owl at the window, bat's, beautiful hawks and the deer. A good area to explore with great night markets and lots of history. We have been coming to France for over 20 years this is the best stay yet. Thankyou Brenda and David for the thought and care you've put in to your wonderful place. See you next year Janet and Mark

Absolutely wonderfully place to stay. The Gite is done to a very high standard, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Brenda and Davy are perfect hosts, giving you both privacy but there if you need anything. Great location for visiting chateaus, canoeing down the Dordogne, Night and day markets, or just enjoying the countryside.

Everything about the stay was fantastic. The house was very comfortable with everything we needed, the outside area with the pool was perfect and the views and peace were something else entirely. The house was well situated for beautiful villages and towns & the supermarkets were close by. Our hosts were fantastic and made us feel very welcome, they were there if we needed anything. Highly recommend a stay here!

My wife and I stayed for a week in June 2024. Brenda and David are fantastic hosts. They greeted us on arrival and provided us with a welcome hamper. The gites is amazing. Everything you could possibly need is provided . There are incredible views across open countryside. The loudest sound you'll typically hear come from the birds and insects. At night, the stars are bright due to no light pollution. The pool is great for a cooling dip! Our hosts were always available if we needed them, but never intrusive. You'll need a car to get around, and a visit to a Chateau or two is a must. We simply cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you like peace, tranquility, amazing views, and an escape from hustle & bustle then you will not be disappointed! We'll be back for sure.
