The history of Rowden Court goes back to the 1870s when Lord Revelstoke, formerly Edward Baring of the Baring Brothers Bank, spent a huge amount of money on his Membland Hall estate, consisting of 4,000 acres of South Hams countryside This included building a 10 mile coastal carriage drive for his wife, along which walks can still be enjoyed. Access to the drive and the stunning coast path is a short distance from Honeysuckle Barn.

All the cottages share a communal laundry room complete with washing machines and tumble dyers. There is also a games room with table tennis and darts.
The South West Coast Path is less than half a mile away so you can be on the cliffs within minutes. The beaches of Stoke and Mothecombe are within easy access with the popular School House Restaurant on the Erme estuary only a few miles along the coast road. This part of the South Hams is great for dog lovers as so many of our beaches allow our four legged friends.
