We had a wonderful week staying at the cottage. The accommodation suited us perfectly (two adults and two children) and was bigger than it appeared in the photos. The location was very peaceful with lovely walks from the house. Wells was just a ten minute drive away and we found plenty to do in the local area. We would highly recommend the cottage and would be keen to stay again!
Ross Rating, 5 stars ,· 2 days ago We had wonderful week at Orchard Cottage which is well placed for the north Norfolk coast and surrounding towns and villages. We felt immediately at home in the spacious house with the added comfort of the warm Aga in the kitchen. We are a family of five (adults) so the three toilets, two showers, comfortable beds and large living space worked really well for us. Parking for two cars helped us as well. Rob is a very helpful and responsive host. Loads to do, beaches not far away and a great farm cafe in the village 3 or 4 minutes walk away. We were sad to leave and hope to be back very soon.
What can I say? Perfect in every respect… An absolutely lovely cottage in a beautiful location. A real home from home - in fact, our children said it was nicer than our home :-)) Really well-equipped kitchen (with an Aga as a delightful bonus); nice bedrooms; powerful showers. Perfectly situated to explore North Norfolk coast and all its attractions and villages - we especially enjoyed Holkham in addition to Wells / Cley / Holt etc - all within a short drive… Great communications from Rob. It was a fantastic week :)
