Stunning Cottage

By LM on 28-Feb-2023

We use Air B & B a lot and this was one of the best houses we have ever stayed in. The house was clean, homely and not over-cluttered. Comfortable beds and everything you need in the kitchen. Communication from the owners was pitched at just the right level and we would recommend the place very highly to any one thinking of going there. Great local pub and a friendly village to base yourself for a week or so.

Whistle Stop Cottage

This has to be one of the most impressive cottages and value for money Ive stayed in. We have a long tradition of staying in dog friendly cottages around the country as this is one that ticks all the boxes. The location on the village green just makes it the perfect getaway from it all peaceful holiday home. The locals are extremely friendly and walking our two Airedales on the local beaches and few beers in the local pub coupled with the added colours of autumn made for a special week Oct 22

Charming cottage

A well presented charming Cottage facing the Village Green. Locals are really friendly and the Village Shop is well stocked with many fresh goods. Plenty of local walks you can follow and the Village Pub is a great place to stop upon your return. Easy access to Cromer, Sheringham & Wells next the Sea if you fancy venturing out.

Lovely cottage

By Emma on 30-Jul-2022

We had a wonderful week at Whistlestop. The lovely cottage was situated on a village green with a very handy local shop. The cottage had everything we needed for the family and dog and was well situated for a holiday exploring both broads and beaches. The owner was very responsive to any questions. We would love to return another time!

Beautiful cottage

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful village. Would visit again. Lots of stuff for the kids in the area and Darren & Wendy went the extra mile to provide a cot, mattress and bed bumper for the little ones which was very much appreciated!

Beautiful cottage

By Lucy on 28-May-2022

What can we say about this beautiful cottage. It was everything we wanted and more. It is located in the beautiful Norfolk countryside with plenty of local walks from the cottage to keep the four legged family members happy. It’s also a great hub if you don’t mind driving to explore all areas of the Norfolk Coastline and National Trust parks. We enjoyed trips to Old Hunstanton, Cromer, Sheringham Park and Horsey wind pump to name a few, all of which were dog friendly all year round. The cottage itself had all the amenities you could possibly want for a short stay and the personal touches such as the home biscuits and wine really made you feel welcome. It felt very much like home from home, especially with the enclosed garden . The local pub and shop where a bonus also. We look forward to coming to stay again and would recommend to all that you book if you can. Thank you for our the best holiday of the year. You’ve set the bar high.
