We came here for a long weekend. There was Contact from day of booking which was great, Holly is very pleasant and easy to communicate with. Nothing was to much trouble. As soon as you walked into the property you felt at home, heating was on and cottage was warm, cosy and i would say caters to everyones likes. The character of the cottage is beautiful and made us happy that it is kept and travels through the house. Holly has supplied everything you need for a stay, from condiments to stair gates to towels. I would highly recommend this property and would give more stars if i could. The surroundings complete it, its in a beautiful place and walk away from the water. Holly was also at hand to give advice on local places to eat and visit. Fantastic place and team to deal with will definitely be returning.
Absolutely lovely cottage, very comfortable and cosy, very well equipped, spacious and in an excellent location. Holly is an excellent host, very helpful and responsive.
Lovely cottage, well equipped, comfortable beds, attentive host, plenty to see and do, either on the doorstep or a short drive away. Ticked all the boxes for our family, thank you Holly!
Delightful accommodation with plenty of space to for our three generations and what a location. Had not known about Appledore before we went but its just perfect, would definitely reccomend, from the rockpooling and crabbing opportunities with the kids to wandering down to the Coffee Cabin first thing and simply enjoying the holiday atmosphere and estuary views. We finshed with a meal at the Beaver Inn (book early as its busy)- really nice pub. Oh, and not forgetting the Devonshire ice cream from Hockings - its something else.
We booked Catboat Cottage for a second time and we were not disappointed! The cottage is well presented and brilliantly equipped with everything you need. The location is fantastic, very close to the town centre and car park. Holly is a great host too, who is always quick to respond to any queries and questions. I would thoroughly recommend this cottage to anyone.
We had a wobderful holiday at this lovely well equipped cottage. We loved that we could even hear the sea in bed when the tide was high. Perfect for a family holiday, all as described! Holly took care of all requests in no time. We hope to come again!
