Short Break North Berwick Loved this seaside apartment. Very spacious and well equipped. Comfortable beds and quiet at night. Location great for all the town has to offer. 5/5 Great spot in wonderful quaint town Fabulous property in premier location with all of the amenities. Owner and property manager were so kind and accommodating. Spacious rooms, new bathrooms, large lounge with TV/Music and fully equipped kitchen. A very comfortable spot to call home while on vacation. A+
Gemütliche Ferienwohnung mit sehr guter Lage am Rande des Ortszentrums. 5min Gehzeit zum Strand oder zum Zug mit nur 30min Fahrzeit nach Edinburgh. Sehr freundlicher Kontakt mit Besitzer. Wir waren über Weihnachten da und uns hat ein großes Willkommenspaket erwartet. Auch waren einige Grundlebensmittel frisch vorhanden. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen.
What another wonderful stay in Marine Lodge. This is a fantastic apartment with lots of living space for a family of 5 and it has everything you need for a weeks holiday. You really get the wow factor from the minute you open the front door looking in to the large hallway. Andrew the owner has thought of everything even decorating the house with decorations for Christmas/New Year. This is our second time here and have booked again for 2017. North Berwick is a great place for exploring; lots of lovely cafes, restaurants and shops. A 30 minute train journey and you are in the bustle of Edinburgh. We love North Berwick and love Marine Lodge, our second home. My Response Delighted with this excellent review from this returning family. For them to say a home for home and rebook a year in advance says it all. We are especially pleased that they not only feel comfortable but that we truly care for all our guests. Not having gone through Owners Direct before I was slightly nervous of the procedure. However I spoke to the owner just before booking and realised I was dealing with a very honest and obliging man. Before the stay he couldn't have done more to help - offering to have food and drink waiting as we were arriving late, arranging a great taxi driver to take us to and from the airport. I always felt I had a network of support should I need it. The apartment is situated in an upmarket area. The beach is just over five minutes walk away. There are shops nearby, though I favoured Lidl just outside Limassol which was a twenty minute bus ride away from the bus stop two minutes from the apartment (it stops right outside the shop which is great). There are some lovely restaurants within walking distance; though expect to pay 60 - 70 euros for two adults and two children. Eating in Limassol probably would have been cheaper which is only 15 minutes by bus. The apartment is very modern and is very well kitted out. It is on the first floor. There is everything you could need - even beach toys and inflatables! It is very roomy and light with a huge balcony. All rooms have aircon. The pool below is lovely, though somewhat cooler than the sea. The beaches are either side of the St Rafael Hotel. The sea slopes out very gently which is ideal for children. I would definately go back and hire a car to explore the rest of Cyprus. A lovely holiday. Having enjoyed so much space with two young children I wouldn't go back to a hotel.
This is the 3rd time that I have had the pleasure of staying in this apartment. It is spacious, well maintained and would I return for a 4th stay, absolutely. I have stayed in the summer and the winter and both have been very relaxing and enjoyable.
