Had a wonderful week at this lovely Cottage. Glorious weather every day to enjoy sandy beaches. Recommend "Waterside Rollesby" - cafe and electric boat, Lion at Thurne and The Swan at Stalham. Well worth a return visit! Many thanks Jan & Andy p.s. will miss the very comfortable bed!!!
This is a well appointed cottage with very nice furniture and equipment. We had a pleasant, restful stay and occasionally saw dwarf deer in the early morning from the front kitchen window. Everything worked and was in good order. We have stayed over the years in many holiday cottages and I must say, this is one of the best. Thank you.
Lovely cottage in an amazing location. We have had a most enjoyable holiday and the wildlife is stunning. We''ve had small deer in the front garden early morning and seen owls flying over the fields behind the cottage at dusk. Add to that the lovely garden birds including a beautiful little wren, hares and a stag down the lane and a huge fox in the garden on our last night. It makes sense that we will be back. Thank you for providing such a well equipped cottage, we''ve lacked for nothing Jan.
Thank you for a lovely relaxing break in a comfortable and well equipped cottage. We have done lot's of activities in the Norfolk area- enjoyed a tree top challenge at Thetford Forest and 2 trips on The Norfolk Broads from Sutton Staithe. Trip to Horsey beach -seal spotting to Potter Heigham and the nature Reserve. Trip to Great Yarmouth and The Pleasure beach and indoor golf ( recommended). big thank you to Jan for a super break .An amazing stay 10/10
A great week in a lovely cottage. Plenty to do and see. We saw Seals at Blakeney and Chinese Water Deer at Hickling Broad plus Cranes and hundreds of Geese coming to roost at dusk. As the weather was so good for the time of year we went around several gardens, stately homes and museums- there is so much more to do, so we will be back!
We had a great holiday at Margaret's Cottage. The accommodation was very comfortable and had everything we needed. There is a great walk along Hickling Broad to Potter Heigham (quite long!) Boat hire is very worthwhile, we recommend Sutton Staithe. Great beaches nearby. Blickling Estate makes a great day out.
