This is a really beautiful place to stay, feels like a home but without any personal clutter, just lovely and thoughtful and very nicely furnished and decorated. Extremely well equipped kitchen, and generally had everything we could have wanted for a cosy day at home if the weather had been bad too (we were so lucky to get sunshine most of the week). It is a very easy walk into the middle of Newport and all the shops etc. and about a 15/20 minute walk down to the harbour area. A great base for exploring the Pembrokeshire coast, either walking or with a car / bus. We went with two little ones (a baby and a 2 year old) - we had to move a lot of the lovely ceramics and things out of little hands reach, but the garden was great for them to roam in and there was nothing too hazardous.
