Nefyn is a small town on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula. Known for its charming bay, sandy beaches, and relaxed atmosphere, it’s a lovely spot for a coastal retreat. The town is also home to Nefyn Golf Club, one of Wales' most scenic courses, and offers stunning views over the Irish Sea.
The village is equipped with all necessary amenities, including Beach Café, pubs, restaurants, grocery shops, Pharmacy, Coffee shop and the intriguing Llŷn Maritime Museum, all within easy walking distance of the cottage.
The Yr Heliwr is a community owned pub and is definitely worth a visit as their involvement to help others is top of their list!

ArosfanNefyn offers a cosy, comfortable stay with modern amenities, including all bedding & towels, Smart Infrared heating, Smart TV, and much more.
The cottage’s layout, spread across three floors, accommodates up to four guests with on-street parking available outside the cottages. The cottage is equipped with free Wi-Fi and is suitable for year-round visits. The loft room, accessible via winding stairs, may not be suitable though for very young children or those with reduced mobility.
With its blend of traditional charm and modern comforts, ArosfanNefyn provides a charming and convenient base for experiencing the beauty of North Wales.
Lounge/ kitchen
Welcome to your perfect retreat, designed with both comfort and convenience in mind.
The lounge area features a large, comfortable sofa adorned with locally made tapestry design cushions that add a unique, cultural flair and for extra relaxation, also includes a soft, stylish pouffe, perfect for resting your feet or using as extra seating when needed.
To ensure your comfort year-round, an infrared ceiling panel is installed, providing gentle, efficient heating that maintains the perfect temperature without taking up floor space.
For your entertainment needs, a smart TV (Wi-Fi connected) is available, allowing you to stream your favourite shows and movies, browse the internet, or connect with apps and services all at your fingertips.
For a bit of added luxury, the space includes 2 bar stools, ideal for casual meals, or enjoying that morning coffee. And with a wireless phone charging plate placed conveniently on a nearby surface, you can easily keep your devices powered up without the clutter of cords.
Several extra throws are provided for extra warmth and cosiness if required, whether you’re lounging on the sofa or curling up with a good book
For those who need to stay connected, USB charging sockets are in certain built into the space for quick and easy charging of all your devices, ensuring you never run out of power during your stay.
This kitchen is compact but space utilised to its best for meal preparation, if your choosing not to eat out, you’ll find everything you need right at your fingertips.

The dual ring electric hob provides an efficient, space-saving option for stovetop cooking, while the kettle & toaster ensure your morning coffee or toast is ready in no time. Also in the kitchen you have another infrared ceiling panel installed ensuring a consistent, comfortable temperature, without the need for bulky heaters or space taken heaters. Its energy-efficient design allows you to maintain the ideal temperature for your stay all year-round.
Main Bedroom
Step into this peaceful and comfortable double bedroom, located on the 1st floor. Whether you're winding down after a long day or starting your morning refreshed, this room is thoughtfully designed to provide everything you need for a restful stay.
The centre piece of the room is the double bed, offering a cosy and inviting space for a good night's sleep. Soft linens and plush pillows ensure maximum comfort for your rest, while the infrared ceiling panel provides gentle, energy-efficient heating to maintain the perfect room temperature throughout the seasons.
For all your belongings, the room offers ample storage with a wardrobe with drawers, giving you plenty of space to hang clothes and store accessories. A chest of drawers provides additional storage for smaller items, making it easy to keep the space neat and organized. The wall-length mirror adds a touch of elegance while offering a full-length view, perfect for getting ready or simply adding depth to the room.
Two bedside lamps are positioned on either side of the bed, offering soft, lighting for reading or creating a relaxing ambiance before bed. The hairdryer provided ensures you’re ready to go in no time, saving you the hassle of packing your own.
Loft room
Nestled on the 2nd floor, this charming loft room is a cosy retreat/ den for families with children or those seeking a more chilled space with its unique design and inviting atmosphere.
The loft room is furnished with 2 single beds, each equipped with under-bed storage for extra convenience, allowing you to neatly store away personal belongings, toys, etc. The infrared ceiling panel ensures the room stays warm and comfortable, providing gentle heating throughout.
For families traveling with young children, the room is equipped with a retractable stair-gate, offering peace of mind and ensuring safety when accessing the stairs. A bedside lamp provides a soft glow, perfect for bedtime stories or calming nights.
A selection of children’s books are available, encouraging young readers to enjoy stories before bed or during quiet moments in the room. These books provide a fun and educational experience for children, helping them relax and unwind in a cosy environment.
The loft room’s design includes a handrail for safety as you navigate the winding stairs, though please be aware that the first three steps at the bottom of the staircase are not a full step and due to the layout with the stairs, this room may not be ideal for very young children or anyone with mobility concerns.

Bathroom
This sleek and stylish bathroom offers everything you need for a refreshing experience, combining practicality with modern design. Whether you’re starting your day or winding down in the evening, it’s equipped with all the essentials for comfort.
The highlight of the bathroom is the double-sized shower, providing plenty of space and the electric shower ensures you have a consistent, on-demand hot water supply, perfect for those early mornings or after a long day.
For added luxury, a heated towel rail keeps your towels warm and fluffy, adding a touch of comfort when you step out of the shower. It also helps to dry towels more efficiently, keeping the space feeling fresh and cosy.
A mirror with shelf is also included in the room, providing a clear view to prepare for the day. Its modern design complements the rest of the bathroom, adding both functionality and style.
Outside
Please note that while the cottage does not have access to the rear or its own private outdoor space (The Kitchen and Bathroom window are opaque for privacy into the neighbour’s yard).
Parking
Parking is normally available directly outside the cottage on the road, if not maybe just a few car lengths away, providing easy access to your accommodation, giving you a convenient spot for your vehicle throughout your stay.
Nearby Amenities
For families with children or those looking for some outdoor fun, a children’s park is located approximately 5 minutes away. It’s an ideal spot for young ones to enjoy some time on the park or on their scooters, trikes, or simply running around and having fun.
Beach Access
For those looking to enjoy the great outdoors, the beach is also just less than 5 minutes away, offering a perfect place to relax, take in the views, or enjoy seaside activities.
The cottage offers convenient access to nearby attractions and facilities that will make your stay enjoyable, and ensures that you’re never far from a place to enjoy fresh air, whether it’s at the park or the beach. The location is strategically situated for touring both the Llŷn Peninsula and Snowdonia National Park.
Guests can enjoy a variety of activities, from hiking and cycling to water sports and golf. The peninsula is known for its spectacular coastline, rich wildlife, and ancient sites, providing a perfect blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage.
Here's a list of the main towns and villages within approximately 40 minutes of Nefyn for you to explore:
Morfa Nefyn (Approx. 5 minutes)
Morfa Nefyn is a small village just west of Nefyn, best known for its Morfa Nefyn Beach and the iconic Ty Coch Inn, located right on the beach. The area offers a peaceful setting, great for walking and beachcombing, as well as stunning coastal views.
Pwllheli (Approx. 14 minutes)
Pwllheli is the largest town on the Llyn Peninsula and serves as a regional hub for shopping, dining, and recreation. It features a marina, a lovely promenade, and beautiful beaches. Pwllheli is a popular spot for sailing and other water-based activities.
It is also to become the New Home for Keith Brymer Jones having purchased Capel Salem. He is a well-known British ceramic artist, designer, and television personality. He is best recognized for his role as a judge on the popular television series "The Great Pottery Throw Down". The building, which was previously a chapel, is being transformed by Keith Brymer Jones & his wife Marj Hogarth into a ceramic studio and gallery space. This will allow him not only to create his pottery but also to host events, exhibitions, and potentially teach workshops.
We can share that we have been very honoured to be able to host Keith & Marj at the cottage whilst they have been Filming and working on the chapel.

Criccieth (Approx. 30 minutes)
Criccieth is a charming coastal town on the southern edge of the Llyn Peninsula. Known for its Criccieth Castle, sandy beaches, and stunning views over Cardigan Bay, the town has a laid-back vibe but offers a good range of shops, cafes, and historical attractions.
Aberdaron (Approx. 30–35 minutes)
Located at the westernmost point of the Llyn Peninsula, Aberdaron is a small, peaceful village surrounded by dramatic landscapes. It’s famous for its isolated beaches, like Porth Oer (Whistling Sands), and as a starting point for hikes to St. Tudwal’s Islands. Aberdaron is ideal for nature lovers and those looking for a quiet, scenic retreat.
Llanbedrog (Approx. 25–30 minutes)
Llanbedrog is a picturesque village on the southern coast of the Llyn Peninsula, known for its vibrant beach huts at Llanbedrog Beach. Barmouth (Approx. 35–40 minutes)

It sits on the edge of the Mawddach Estuary and is a great place for walking, cycling, and exploring the surrounding nature. The Mawddach Trail offers a stunning walk across the estuary.
Caernarfon (Approx. 35 minutes)
Caernarfon is a historic town famous for Caernarfon Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The town sits on the edge of the Menai Strait, offering stunning views of Snowdonia and the Isle of Anglesey. It's a major cultural and tourism hub in the region.
Beddgelert (Approx. 35 minutes)
Beddgelert is a small village located near the Snowdonia National Park. It’s famous for its legend of Gelert, a loyal hound. Beddgelert is surrounded by beautiful forests and mountain views, and it’s a great spot for hiking.
Dolgellau (Approx. 35 minutes)
A historic market town at the foot of Cader Idris, Dolgellau is a gateway to Snowdonia National Park. The town is charming, with cobbled streets, independent shops, and cafes, as well as being close to some excellent walking and hiking trails in the surrounding mountains.
Porthmadog (Approx. 35 minutes)
Porthmadog is a bustling town near Snowdonia National Park. It is home to the famous Ffestiniog Railway, which offers scenic steam train rides through beautiful countryside. The town itself is lively, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions.
Harlech (Approx. 40 minutes)
