Lilac Cottage is wonderful - I totally recommend visiting here. Although the space is small, it is decorated and furnished beautifully - even the kitchen is well stocked to a high quality. The location is incredibly peaceful, and also a great gateway to day trips around the Brecon Beacons. We would love to come back.

A lovely, wonderfully equipped cottage in a perfect location for visiting Abergavenny and lots of options for walking my dog. Carol was such a kind, lovely host and provided so much useful information. We will be back.

This is a gem of a place. Can’t recommend it highly enough. It feels very homely. Comfy lounge, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen. Cute garden. The location is fantastic- easy to get to. Super close to the canal for kayaking, hills for walking, bike bike wales, the big pit…. What really stood out was how helpful Carol was. Eg she provided a binder of useful local information. We followed her suggested route up Sugarloaf and it was fantastic. We also followed advice on local pubs. Thank you!!
