Description
The Old Workshop, Milfield is a fully modernised cottage, with accommodation on a single level. The village of Milfield is a typical Northumbrian village with a thriving pub, cafe and country store all within reach.
Centrally located in north Northumberland, Milfield is within striking distance of the dramatic coastline (including Holy Island, Seahouses and Bamburgh) as well as the Cheviots for walkers and both the Till and the Tweed for fishing.
The cottage sleeps up to 5 people in 3 bedrooms and is well-equipped with everything you need to make your stay a relaxing and enjoyable one.
Sitting Room & Dining
The comfortable sofas are a great place to relax and unwind with a drink or watch TV. There’s a log burner for the cooler evenings and plenty of space for the whole family to get together. The large dining table gives our guests chance to get together for a lazy meal, or play a board game from a selection in the cotttage.
Kitchen
The modern kitchen is fully equipped, with large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, microwave, coffee machine and toaster and plenty of cutlery and crockery.
King Bedroom
A comfortable king-sized bed with views out to the garden area. A large built-in wardrobe provides plenty of space for your holiday wear. Two bedside tables and reading lamps to either side of the bed give additional storage.
Bedding and linen is provided within the rental cost.
Twin Room
A bright and airy room with two full-sized single beds.
Single Room
A quiet space for one, overlooking the garden. Single bed with a bedside table and lamp and a free-standing wardrobe.
Bathroom
The bathroom is large and accommodates a bath and separate large shower cubicle, basin with mirror, lights and shaver socket and the WC. The heated towel rail will make sure your towels are cosy and there is hot water on demand from the heating system.
Outside
Hidden away behind the cottage is a private courtyard with neatly tended herb beds. The garden is accessed from the dining area. There is outdoor seating and tables and a barbecue for those warmer evenings. A super spot to sit and read and relax if you don’t fancy any of the numerous activities in the area.
