Gareth, Beeston, United Kingdom
By Gareth on 16-Oct-2023The cottage was situated a very short walking distance to the centre, but also free parking very nearby. Quiet streets and absolutely stunning views and surroundings. The cottage itself was full of character and charm, lots of space, very comfortable and warm and super clean! A lovely space to spend a restful weekend or a week out hiking the hills of the Derbyshire Dales. Communications with John were always timely and helpful, and had everything covered. John very kindly left a generous birthday treat for my Mum!! Overall, a really special place to stay in...highly recommended!

By Lewis on 03-Sep-2023An excellent base in great walking distance to Matlock centre. We stayed with two young children and they loved the thoughtful little touches such as board games, dvds and also Lego that was available at the house. The description said about parking for a small car but we managed to park a Tiguan. Anything much bigger might be a struggle, however there is plenty of on street parking nearby to use after unloading bags etc.
