Great find for a last minute 3 night break.Ideally situated for walking in the area and visiting Matlock/Chatsworth/Bakewell. The cottage was extremely well appointed, very clean and comfortable. Lovely touches on arrival with tea and scones set out and even chocolate on the towels on the bed! Parking good. Certainly would have been interested in larger property “The Escape “ for New Year- shame it was already booked.
Brookside retreat was ideal for our 4 night stay over easter 2019. It is well appointed and very comfortable. The location is quiet but ideal for visiting many of the Peak District's many attractions. We walked Dovedale and Beresford Dale and cycled both the Monsal and Tissington Trails.
