Crow Pie Cottage sleeps 15 people in 5/6 bedrooms and is ideally placed for you to enjoy the Peak District and the Derbyshire Dales.The cottage has good access to a wide range of local facilities including pubs, restaurants and attractions (all within walking distance) as well as good access to a range of public transport links to Derby, Chesterfield, Sheffield and Manchester.
This holiday house on the edge of the Derbyshire Peak District is in the perfect location for discovering dozens of local attractions including Chatsworth House, Hardwick Hall and Haddon Hall as well as the UK’s most popular theme park, Alton Towers; the historically important Derwent Valley Mills where Sir Richard Arkwright started the Industrial Revolution an much, much more.This is the ideal self-catering holiday cottage accommodation for your Derbyshire holiday or weekend short break.

Entrance hallway with full sized retro arcade gaming table where you can challenge your friends to classic games such as PacMan, Tetris and many more.
Shaker style kitchen with gas hob, electric double oven (large fan oven plus smaller conventional oven with grill), dishwasher, fridge, freezer, 2nd larder fridge, slow cooker, air fryer, microwave oven and a comprehensive range of utensils and cooking equipment. General items such as tea, coffee, sugar, salt & pepper etc. are provided on arrival.
Dining room is home to a large oak farmhouse table which (when used with the extension) is big enough for 15 people to dine together for that celebratory meal. French style double doors open out onto the garden and terrace area at the front of the house – perfect for al-fresco dining. Two high chairs are available on request. 40" TV with Amazon Fire Stick for all your streaming needs.
Large living room with a feature fireplace with cosy log burning stove, comfy sofas and 55″ Smart TV plus Sky TV and Sky Cinema, also DVD player with a large and varied selection of over 80 DVDs.
Snug/sitting room off living room with full sized, fully sprung double sofa-bed, ipod dock, Freeview TV, DVD player and a Chromecast for viewing catchup TV programmes/photos or apps from your smartphone or tablet on the big screen. In the snug is also a large bookcase with a huge range of books, games and jigsaws – ideal for those who just want to chill out away from it all.
Utility area with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board and supply of cleaning materials etc.
Downstairs cloakroom with toilet and hand basin.
Free unlimited fibre broadband for all you downloading and streaming.
Upstairs there are 5 bedrooms with downstairs snug/occasional 6th bedroom. The layout gives flexible accommodation for a maximum occupancy of 15 people (excluding infants in travel cots).

By Rosie L on 09-Jan-2025We had the pleasure of staying at Crow Pie Cottage over New Year (2024), we're a group of 4 families so really needed somewhere that felt warm and welcoming and worked for both kids and adults and we found exactly that here. Jackie's instructions and tips before we arrived were really invaluable and ensured we had a comfortable and happy stay that worked for all of us. It's clear there's a lot of love here at the cottage, and it was lovely that the Christmas decorations were still up, as the kids loved seeing the tree and all the twinkly lights. As we had such a nice time at the cottage we didn't venture out too widely, but we did walk over to Cromford to the Boat Inn for a New Year's day lunch, which I can recommend! Would advise to book in advance, which I am glad we did as it was very popular when we were there! There was also a really great secondhand bookshop on the same street. Thanks so much for having us again Jackie, we honestly loved it, far exceeded expectations and meant we had such a nice New Year's celebration together!

By Emma on 04-Oct-2024We all just wanted to say Thank You for a wonderful stay in Crow Pie cottage. We had a lovely weekend in this beautiful cottage. Great view for the fireworks! We enjoyed every minute and honestly couldn’t have wished for more and definitely will be back. 11 adults, 3 kids.
Great Spot
