Magnificent

By Tricia Hollingshead on 20-Mar-2023

Magnificent ! Magnificent ! Magnificent ! If you want stunning views while you eat, chat, relax and wake up - this is THE place. The accommodation is very pleasant and clean and doesn''''t stink of air freshener etc. The beds are super comfortable. We very quickly felt at home. We had a little niggle which was quickly and professionally resolved. The photos don''''t really do justice to the views from inside. It looks out over the natural cliffs that form the mouth of Solva harbour. The waves, tides and sea mists are mesmerising. Access to the Coastal path is a perhaps 200 yds away, so walks are easy to plan. (On the wet day we parked away and walked ''''home'''' for lunch incase we needed to dry out! Then walked back to the car.) Explorative or barky dogs do need to be kept on lead in the garden, and parking and access isn''''t perfect, but if it is a ''''whatever the weather'''' sea view you want - those inconveniences are insignificant. You will not be disappointed. We can''''t wait to return to be in awe again ! Tricia and Marcus.

Great.

We had a very pleasant stay in emery cottage. Everything was just perfect and we wouldn't change a thing. The bed is very comfortable and it has a lovely homely feel about it. We recommended it highly!!

Compact Cosy & Quaint

Mathry, Pembrokeshire. This cottage well situated to explore the quieter parts of West Wales. Accommodation very good. Clean & well provisioned and in the heart of Mathry. Pub 2 minutes stroll, but no shops and a short drive for supplies. Weather was mixed, but the rain on the corrugated roof overnight was surprisingly restful!! Pet friendly and no fussy demands, this cottage was to be 'lived in'. Excellent, and good communication with owner!

Cozy cottage in beautiful surroundings

Fantastic little cottage - cozy, comfortable and beautifully kept and decorated. Short walk to village pub and hiking trails, parking very easy and plenty of space nearby. St David's, Haverfordwest and Fishguard all a short drive away, plus many small and completely unspoilt villages nearby. Log burner and big, comfy bed made for a very restful break away in beautiful Pembrokeshire - would highly recommend, and hope to visit again!

Lovely cottage in a quiet village location. Ideal for a couple and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pub and tea rooms are great for food. The breakfast in the tea rooms is a must. We did do one walk from the cottage but mostly drove to visit other areas. Lots of lovely walks and places to eat. We took a boat trip to Ramsey Island with Voyages of Discovery which was excellent. This was our first visit to Pembrokeshire but we will definitely be coming back
