Description
For rent, “Les Alouettes” is a beautiful single story stone villa in Malaucène, Vaucluse, Provence. Although originally built as a Berger (a shepherd’s home) it has been totally restored to become the charming and comfortable home, in the spirit of Provence, that it is today. The property has a side entrance to the municipal car park leading up to the town, with all its facilities, by foot 50 – 100 meters.
The owner now lives independently at the far end of the large villa. The terrace has a trellis, one side offers a larger area for guests, the other side a smaller area for the owner. After, if you need her, you will be able to either send her an e-mail, or phone her or send her an SMS message; otherwise you will see her or her representative on departure

Special thanks for creating such a detailed instruction book. It was incredibly useful especially the information about the town and the region. The villa is very beautiful, authentic, clean, and has got a lot of interesting details. Thanks to you we were able to immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of Provence. Welcoming
By Bea on 15-Jun-2024Hi Maria, Thank you for your hospitality. You gave us a very welcome feeling when we arrived. There was beer and wine in the fridge for a “cooling down” our drive to Malaucene. We were here for the tour du ALS on 13-06-2024 and son and daughter-in-law walked to the top of the Mont Ventoux Bea, Rob, Nicolette and Tierne
FANTASTIC!
By Adam Chivers on 30-Sep-2023FANTASTIQUE! 30 September, 2023 Hi Maria, What a lovely time we have had at Les Alouettes. The house is so lovely and welcoming, we shall ever treasure (in no particular order): 1. Days on the terrace playing backgammon, reading, early evening glasses of rosé 2. Exploring the countryside – so many marvellous walks 3. Evenings in Malaucene – menu du jour and much conversation; and (last but by no means least) 4. Reading Bill Larkworthy’s memoirs and enjoying Maria’s company. A wonderful holiday, Adam, Clare et al x
