The owner was wonderful and refunded every last penny to us. Much appreciated in such an uncertain time. So friendly and helpful despite their loss of our booking. Will definitely consider this place when restrictions are lifted! Hopefully they'll be able to be back up and running as soon as possible! Review of Craigmore East Machrihanish Kintyre Argyll Zakarooney Perth, United Kingdom Excellent property for the whole family or large group of golfers,walkers,cycleists etc. Left on May 10, 2018 for a stay in May 2018 Large five bed house that can take 10 with ease. The kitchen diner is huge and table large enough to seat 10 making it a great area to converse. The sandy beach is just over the road and there were 8 seals basking on the rocks at the beach. Great place for children as there is a large grass back garden to play on. Machrihanish golf course first tee is a minutes walk from the house and Machrihanish Dunes and Dunaverty courses are a short dive away. The Ugadale Hotel and their separate bar and restaurant are are just round the corner from the house if you want a drink or a meal. Great location to explore the Mull of Kintyre. Would recommend. We stayed at Allan’s house, Craigmore East along with my wife and two other couples, the house was spotlessly clean and the beds were extremely comfortable, it had a nice homely feel the moment we arrived.
